Graphic tees have always been a part of my style since I was an angry teenager. It is what mostly defines my style since I always throw on a graphic tee to wear it with a blazer, leather jacket, sweater or to add more of a casual look to my outfit. What I always tend to stick to is graphic tees that I can always wear.
Target is my weakness. Who else can agree with the previous sentence? EVERYONE! They have always been my go to for just about everything under the sun, it is often a danger to go to the store without a chaperon. You always walk out with 100 things you didn’t necessarily need but couldn’t walk pass. They have the same effect on you even online. I was looking for another faux fur coat but nothing like I had been seeing all over instagram or on the streets. It was always the same cut, style, and feel. Since I am a giant pain in the ass to myself, I HAD TO FIND SOMETHING DIFFERENT. Target answered my fashion prayers with this coat…
Ruffles are trending. I caved & bought into a trend. When I first saw this shirt I fell in love with the color, I mean just look at how beautiful that red is! This spring it is all about the statement sleeves. And as much as I love them sometimes it just is not practical to wear every day. Maybe for a night out but I wanted to find something in between to balance out this trend. This top does exactly that… Not only does it bring me away from my typical black or white go to top, but its a minimal enough ruffle where I don’t feel overpowered by the top. Instead I’m feeling empowered and ready to take on the day! It is definitely something I would wear to work, you can dress it up or dress it down. For me this would be dressing up my look a bit for work, my office setting is a casual work attire which makes life so much easier… but also a challenge since they all know that I am a fashion blogger. Plenty of rainy days were a blogger off duty look haha!
My high school style has some how managed to stay with me all of these years. Just lucky that graphic tee’s are a trend now. I have been wearing band t-shirts since my teens, not because its cool and trendy but because I am a fan of the music. Hello teenage angst, didn’t know I invited you to this blog post…
