Magic Waves Hair Tutorial
Trying to record this tutorial was a majority of failure over success, but I guess the third times a charm right? As promised here are the steps of how to do this hair tutorial:
- Apply “ITS A 10” leave in condition while hair is still wet.. you can brush your hair out or let it air dry without brushing it. Depends on the type of hair you have
- AIR DRY – I always let my hair air dry
- Reason for the madness? 1. its not as much heat applied to my hair, instead of blowing it out and applying more heat with the curling iron I just let it air dry. 2. when I blow out my hair it doesn’t always hold the wave the way I want it to and it always falls out. 3. The most important and final reasoning: I’m lazy
- Brush out your hair – NO KNOTS!
- Section off your hair – depending on how big you want the waves create the sections. Personally I tend to have 3-4 sections on each side of my head after creating the part that I want. This is just easier to work your way through your hair while making these waves
- Wrap the hair around the curling iron/wand away from your face
- Hold for about 30 seconds – thicker sections of hair hold for about a minute so it absorbs the heat and takes the wave shape… obviously smaller sections of hair use less time
- TIP: touch the hair while still wrapped around the curling iron to feel how hot the hair is getting to know when to release
- Catch the hair as it falls for it to hold its shape
- Spray a little bit of hair spray after each section is completed
- Repeat steps 5-8 throughout your entire head
